• Website Content: When you explicitly click "Summarize," our extension extracts the text content and URL of the active tab. This data is sent to our secure server solely to generate your AI summary.
• Location Data: Our servers receive your IP address during requests. This is used for security logging and rate-limiting to prevent service abuse.
• Usage Metrics: We track the number of summaries generated per user ID to enforce usage limits and manage subscription tiers.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly for the following purposes:

• To generate AI-powered summaries in your unique voice.
• To manage your Pro subscription and license activation across devices.
• To ensure the security and stability of our API.

3. Data Retention & Third Parties

Article Content: We do NOT store the text content of the articles you summarize permanently. It is processed in real-time and discarded after the summary is generated.

Third-Party Processors: We use OpenAI to generate summaries and Gumroad to process payments. We do not sell your data to any third parties. We never see or store your credit card information; all financial transactions are handled securely by Gumroad.

4. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmission between the extension and our servers. Access to our API is protected by custom security headers to prevent unauthorized use.
